Children’s hearts beat faster and the adrenaline is pumping! La Ronde, the largest amusement park in Quebec awaits you with over 40 rides and entertainment.
Built for Expo 67, La Ronde sits proudly on Île Sainte-Hélène in Parc Jean-Drapeau. Over the years, this 591,000 m2 large site holds many attractions, including mind-blowing rollercoasters, various dining services and many other events to entertain the thousands of thrill seekers who visit every year. Open mid-May to late October, La Ronde built its reputation thanks in part to the “Monstre”, one of the oldest rides in the park and also the highest wooden roller coaster in the world. If you happen to be there between June and August, make sure to catch the International Loto-Quebec Fireworks Competition. For over 25 years, it has attracted the most prestigious international fireworks companies and delighted the crowd that gathers at La Ronde and along the riverside. After all this excitement there is no better way to rejuvenate than a well-deserved rest at the Hotel Gouverneur Île Charron!
