1. MERRY MONTREAL
From December 1st to January 1st, Old Montreal comes alive during Merry Montreal Festival. Christmas market, Outdoor Holiday Flicks, specialized boutiques, Old Montreal is full of winter activities to do with family or friends. Don’t miss New Year’s Eve Party. DJs, shows and fireworks, you have everything for a good start!

3. SUPER MARIO AND FRIENDS: THE EXHIBIT!
Until January 8th, Grévin Museum presents a lively exhibition on our beloved Nintendo character, Mario! Discover Mario’s fabulous universe with this interactive exhibition. Who said we could not play video games in a museum?
4. MONTREAL MÉTIER D’ARTS TRADE SHOW
Are you passionate about fashion and design? From December 8 to 18, come take a look at Place Bonaventure to discover the 300 exhibitors attending the craft fair. You will love those wonderful work of art!

Place des Festivals will shimmer from December 8th to January 29th during the 7th edition of Luminothérapie. Indeed, the Place des Festivals will become a giant interactive playground to everyone’s delight. Admire your favorite tales recreated in images right in front of you.
6. CHRISTMAS MARKET
Come and see one of the biggest Christmas markets in the province! From December 1st to 24, Place Jacques-Cartier is transformed into a huge outdoor Christmas market. Many activities and surprises on site are certainly worth the detour! Soak up the holiday magic!
MONTREAL 375E ACTIVITIES
Montreal will celebrate its 375th anniversary in 2017. To our delight, some activities are beginning in December to end perfectly 2016.

7. CITÉ MÉMOIRE
Already in display since this summer, the artistic creation Cité Mémoire presents many historical characters and the evolution of the city over time. You will love how the artists use the city monuments for their breathtaking projections. An artistic and educational work of art!
8. HOCKEY JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP
From December 26 to January 5, Montreal is hosting several games of the World Junior Hockey Championship. You will have the chance to attend the semi-finals and the final in addition to several other games. We hope that you have nerves of steel, because the games are likely to be quite exciting!
